Make No Mistake

Jesus is Lord!

Make no mistake; Jesus is Lord.

He is Lord whether you recognize Him as so or not. Your unbelief, skepticism, or atheism does not change this fundamental truth. Trying to nullify the fact by denying it does not change the fact that Jesus is Lord and every person who is living or has lived or that shall live will confess that Jesus is Lord.

Jesus is Lord in the very basic and proper sense of the word.  Jesus is Lord for he is the owner, the only rightful ruler, and is the sovereign of the entire universe. Jesus has and does exercise entire dominion over all. Jesus is Lord.

Jesus death and resurrection highlights his Lordship: “For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living (Romans 14:9 ESV). Jesus declared His right to Lordship: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18 ESV); and the Bible declares “every tongue [will] confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:11 ESV).

The only question is whether you will allow Jesus his rightful place in your life or not. A question on which hangs heaven or hell. Make Jesus Lord of your life. (Learn how by Clicking HERE

Where is the Merry in Merry Christmas?

"A Merry Christmas, Uncle! God save you!" cried a cheerful voice.

"Bah!" said Scrooge. "Humbug!"" - Charles Dickens (A Christmas Carol)

You can “humbug” the holiday, the giving of gifts, Santa, and the feast; but please do not  “humbug” the Holy One. The message of Christmas can be lost in the getting and giving of gifts but we must not misplace or reject the Messiah, the savior, and Lord.

So allow me to make it clear. A merry Christmas begins with embracing Jesus as your redeemer because the purpose of his coming was to save me and you from our sins. God’s salvation was made possible by Jesus, who took our sins on himself and died in our place on the cross of Calvary. Because of that act of love and the fact he rose from the dead, Jesus can change our lives and gives us eternal life. This salvation is free and can be yours by simply believing this truth and confessing by prayer that you are a sinner.

The merry in Merry Christmas is the fact a savior was born. Embrace the Christ of Christmas and make this a truly Merry Christmas.
